Robert Winks of the 357th FG was one of the few Mustang pilots to have shot down and ME262 jet. Robert help a great deal in the development of this image and was delighted when he received his first print. Prints are signed by him.
It must have been quite and experience. At first I put the 262 much further away but he kept saying, no, it was closer than that when I fired. A dive from 20,000 feet allowed Robert to get up enough speed to catch the jet. Comments most welcome. Hope you enjoy it
